The Salomon X-Ultra Forces MID GTX is a very light shoe that is suitable for everyday work, activities and circumstances. The shoe is equipped with the Salomon XA Pro 3D technology and is extremely durable due to the materials used.
Equally at home on low-vis operations and high-tempo assaults this boot combines the agility of a trail running shoe with the stability of a light hiker. Equipped with an Advanced Chassis providing lateral support and anti-puncture underfoot the boot is protective yet does not compromise freedom of movement.
The upper material needs to be robust and very flexible. To meet these requirements, a non-reflective material mix of anti-debris mesh, PU coate leather and single-layer mesh has been selected. The underlying GORE-TEX®membrane makes the boot an ideal companion in all kinds of weather. The SensiFitTM system cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system to provide a secure, precise and almost customized fit. The inside of the boot is reinforced with an additional material to support climbing and fast rappelling.
The performance and stability of the sole construction play a crucial role in the field. In combination, the Contagrip® Chevron Lugs outsole and Advanced Chassis™ provide an optimum response to all requirements. An OrthoLite® inlay sole ensures a comfortable fit and additional damping in the boot, while perforations in the sole support a pleasant foot climate.

Combining foams with two different densities, this midsole provides superior cushioning, stability, and motion control.
EnergyCell
A high performance EVA foam that provides shock attenuation.
Anti-debris Mesh
Tight mesh that prevents debris from being trapped between your foot and the footbed.
Non-reflective materials
Built to be discrete and non-reflective for Tactical use.
PU-coated leather
Quality full-grain leather material for longer wear and durability.
Single layer Mesh
A single layer of Mesh, close to the foot, for maximum feel.
Water Repellent
A special treatment is applied to provide extra protection, ensuring that the fabric does not absorb water during light rain and showers.

Gusseted tongue
The tongue is connected to the upper on both sides, preventing debris from entering the shoe, and keeping the tongue centered.

SensiFit™ cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug, and virtually customized fit all around the foot.

Molded to match the contours of your foot, this OrthoLite® insole provides superior cushioning, as well as breathability and durability, to upgrade the comfort and performance of our footwear.
NOTE: Salomon is quite small, so be sure to check the size chart* for the right size. In many cases you need a whole size larger than e.g. sports shoes.
