Specna Arms' M4A1 Edge is mostly made of a zinc and aluminum alloy and steel reinforcements in areas subject to heavy loads (screws, pins & sling mounts). The push shaft and pistol grip are made of sturdy polymer. Thanks to a special anodization process, the receiver and RIS system are particularly well protected against corrosion. The powder coating is also extremely scratch-resistant and resistant to high loads. On the receiver you will find Rock River Arms Markings.
The Gun comes with a reinforced version 2 Orion Gearbox including ESA quick spring change system , which allows a quick change of the spring, without having to remove the Gearbox. With this you can quickly and without special tools adapt the gun to all requirements and speeds
The AEG is designed for use with LiPo and LiFe batteries. The new Orion Gearbox, which can be tuned to M140 , features steel gears and 8mm ball bearings as well as many other high quality tuned internals .
The rotating hop-up chamber is made of metal and seals the system first-class. The Edge makes it out of the box 380 fps . The set comes with a M90 spring, which means that thanks to the ESA system, performance can be reduced quickly and easily to 310 fps.
On the outer barrel you will find a 14 mm left-hand thread for mounting other Flashhiders or silencers. Also a functional bolt catch is installed.
